The Houseplant by Jeremy Ray

An endearing and touching story of a houseplant starting to adjust to his new life outside Garden Place. You read more about the daily life of a house plant and the dramatic turns life can take. The interactions and dynamics of the plant with his humans were written beautifully. It is a great work of anthropomorphism.

I really enjoyed reading how the house plant (George) started to adjust to his new life with humans. Jeremy Ray's writing makes you feel connected with the houseplant. 

If you are looking for a short story packed with emotions you should definitely try this one out. Bonus points if you like plants :)
